It may be a cliché but a week in footy is indeed a long time. So too, a week in footy tipping. After three rounds to assess the form of the 16 AFL teams, the PMFC Tipping League got underway this week with the first head-to-head round. Here’s a little run-down of the weeks happenings:After two weeks of three as a top-tipper, Taff was taught a few home truths by Danny and finds himself rock-bottom of the ladder after a 7-5 defeat. This of course means that Monsieur Johncock rules the roost on percentage after round 1. Congratulations to him!

Four more (Dave Oz, STD, The Duke and Boyd) all scored impressive 7’s providing them with one-point victories over their respective opponents (Damo, Kalle, Wilbur and Morty).Capt. Simmo was the lowest scoring winner, with a solid 6 good enough to account for Adam. Finally, Choco and Spidey got away with 5’s in a high-scoring round by drawing each other in the first head-to-head.

Still no perfect 8’s… who will be the seasons first? Happy tipping, gott folk!
