DAFL
The DAFL (Danish Australian Football League) is the largest, non-English-speaking Aussie Rules competition in the world. In 2020, it consists of six teams from Denmark, and The Maulers in Sweden.
The Maulers have a long and proud history in the DAFL. In 2020, we will be giving it our all again.
The DAFL Premiership gets underway for Port Malmö in mid April.

WNAFL
The Women’s Nordic AFL will be a three team competition in 2020. The Lynx will fight it out with Farum and Aalborg.
South Sweden League (SSAFL)
The SSAFL is were the Maulers split up and play more local, development footy against each other and the players from Helsingborg.
2020 will see some exciting developments in the SSAFL. While the competition will be informal and ad hoc with a focus on a good time, a SSAFL committee will form and the teams will begin to get more self-sufficient again. The aim is that shortly, instead of the Maulers splitting into the SSAFL teams, the SSAFL teams will feed into the Maulers.

Ad Hoc Footy
If there’s a free weekend, there’s a good change we’ve organised some form of match to play on it.
And, at least for 2019, all the matches the Lynx play are organised separate to any league. But don’t let that deceive you: the Lynx themselves are well organised and train and socialise regularly.
The Lynx will host an indoor tournament in March at Kombihallen in Malmö.
The Lynx will again play in the European Champions League in Amsterdam, 6 April.
AFL Sweden
There are several Australian Football clubs active in Sweden, spread out right across the country.
And while they play in separate regional leagues, all clubs come together once a year for the Indoor tournament in Jan/Feb and for the Sweden Cup in June. These competitions are organised by the sport’s national governing body, AFL Sweden.
